This 3-day course will provide fire and emergency service personnel, and civilians, with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to meet the minimum job performance requirements (JPRs) of NFPA 1030, for Fire and Life SafetyEducator Level I. This course focuses on personnel assigned to the implementation of fire and life safety programs, and supports the content provided in the Fire and Life Safety Educator, 4th Edition, manual. Topics include; Community Risk Reduction, Administration, Delivering Educational Activities, Education, Implementation, and more. At the successful completion of this course, participants will receive a state certification.
Homework will be required for this class. Participants are highly encouraged to download the required book from the state.
