Leighton’s passion for the fire service stems from being a 2nd generation firefighter, where his father has served for almost 40 years, 20+ as Chief. Leighton has attended several training courses across the country, including classes at FDIC, Nozzle Forward, and County Fire Tactics, among others. Leighton believes that learning and training ends the day after you retire from the fire service.
